How the Platform Works — Donor Journey
Step 1 — Discover — Donor visits the platform and sees active fundraising campaigns with progress bars showing how much has been raised towards each goal. |
Step 2 — Search & Filter — Donor uses the search bar and filters to find causes matching their interests — by keyword, category, or campaign status or click directly on the campaign from the homepage. |
Step 3 — Choose & Donate — Donor selects a campaign, chooses a donation amount (preset or custom), fills in their details, and donates. Payment via Stripe is configured post-build. |
Step 4 — Certificate & Receipt — Donor immediately receives a confirmation email with a transaction receipt. A personalised donor certificate is generated and available to download from their dashboard. |
Step 6 — Manage Dashboard — Donor dashboard automatically opens for donor view their donation history, download certificates, update their profile, and change their language preference. |
Admin — Admin manages all campaigns, monitors the real-time analytics dashboard, manages user roles, reviews audit logs, and sends donor communications. |
